In the Division of Spine Surgery, we care for patients with all varieties of spinal disorders involving the cervical, thoracic and lumbar areas of the spine. We treat both pediatric and adult patients with an array of spinal conditions, including scoliosis or other spinal deformity, spondylolisthesis, intervertebral disc disease (disc herniations, degenerative disc disease) and other degenerative conditions of the spine, spinal stenosis, tumors, fractures and infections, and associated metabolic disorders that afflict the spine. We specialize particularly in cervical spinal stenosis with spinal cord compression and complex spinal deformities in children and adults.

Because most spinal disorders do not require surgical treatment, we place a strong emphasis on establishing an accurate diagnosis and providing a treatment approach that encompasses the entire spectrum of non-operative and operative measures alike. In doing so, we strive to provide for maximal return of health, productivity and function for all individuals with spinal disorders. In those instances in which surgical treatment is required, we offer the most contemporary options so that the impact of the surgery might be minimized while the outcome and benefit of the surgery is maximized.
